The work with "Poly"
We start the work with program "Poly".
Poly is a shareware program for exploring and constructing polyhedra.With Poly, you can manipulate polyhedral solids on the computer in a variety ofways. Flattened versions (nets) of polyhedra may be printed and then cut out,folded, and taped, to produce three-dimensional models.

POLYHEDRA HAVE BEEN STUDIED BY GEOMETERS FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS. TROUGH HISTORY , POLYHEDRA HAVE BEEN CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH THE WORLD ART. THE PEAK OF THIS RELATIONSHIP WAS CERTAINLY IN THE RENAISSANCE. LEONARDO DA VINCI WAS THE MAJOR RENAISSANCE MAN: ARTIST, MATHEMATICIAN. HE WAS AGREAT LOVER OF GEOMETRY. LEONARDO DA VINCI’S ILLUSTRATIONS SYMBOLIZE THE ROLE OF GEOMETRY IN ARCHITECTURE.
Our new activity is to create the gallery of artistic 3D solids with using computer program "Poly".
Mathematical art for Christmas (part2)
The students made Christmas trees and mandalas with decorations for Christmas using Tess programm, and a Christmas tree with fractals made by hands.
