Foi com muito orgulho e satisfação que recebi o Prémio Nacional atribuído ao PEK2, que muito honra o nosso trabalho com os alunos e a nossa escola. Agradeço também ao Director, Professor António Gouveia, que fez questão de me acompanhar e não escondeu o seu entusiasmo ao receber  o prémio da escola.

Trabajo realizado en el IES Rey Don García de Nájera

Nájera es un municipio de 8.500 habitantes situado en la "Rioja Alta', España, y atravesada por el río Najerilla. Nájera fue la antigua capital deLa Rioja. Destaca el monasterio de Santa María La Real" y su castillo. Nájera es también punto de parada en el Camino de Santiago.

The Hungarian team joined the Pekkies because of PEK 1 which sparked our interest and when I showed it to my group of 16 advanced level English students, they all wanted to participate. Finally those who did not get a user name, were paired with those who had and this way they could also be involved.

Having a comic book was a great achievement and an incredible pleasure to work all together but we needed a cover for it. And a comic book without a proper and an original cover is not a real comic book!

A cover contest took  place in April and beginning of May and all members of Pek, teachers and pupils registered on the twinspace, were invited to take part in this activity.

The drawings had to be done on A4 format and all techniques were accepted.

Hi Pekkies!

I'd like to tell you about the work developed by my pupils at the "Instituto San Clemente", in Santiago de Compostela (Medium Grade Formative Course on Computers).

Initially their main task would consist on colouring the different stories, but eventually, they were charged with more and more work thanks to my incredible ability for muddling things ...

finally arrived yesterday and the comicmagazine is real and splendid.

Hello everybody! My students were really amazed when they saw the book and could read their story in many languages; they amused themself in finding out how an Italian word was translated in a completely unknown language! I don't bet a penny on our pronunciation but we had  great fun.The project was a real adventure also for us because the ones we had joined before were more.. how can I say ....detached, we mainly worked on our own . This one instead was really great because we felt cared about ...

I'm sitting in my office, having in front of me the newly opened envelop arrived from Spain. I'm overwhelmed by the emotions that its content generated not only to me but to my colleagues and students that saw it as well. Despoina, the English teacher that collaborated with me in this project was thrilled with the final result. My students couldn't believe in their eyes and my colleagues were surprised of what an etwinning project can achieve.
