We did our scarecrow from recycled materials like garbage-bags, newspapers, potato-sacks and clothing we no longer used. First i did a wooden structure so that we could build the structure with the frame. We used soil so we could put the scarecrow in it. The children filled up the empty garbage-bags with rolled up newspapers. We then filled up the shirt and jeans with the filled-up garbage-bags. For St. Valentine was went to visit elderly people in a residential home. They were very happy to see us. We took these presents ( craft) with us and they were very happy to recieve something from use done especially for them. We recycled a toilet roll and we painted it grey. We added some hearts and some yellow paper to make it look like a candle. |

This is a class collage i did with my children for the rememberance of St. Paul's Shipwreck in Malta ( 10 th February) ... We used paint, glue, string, rounded scissors and pieces of different coloured papers. We first traced the figure of a child onto cartonboard and then we adjusted the shape to transform the fgiure look more like St. Paul. Then we did all the paintings and gluing!
