Many people recognize graffiti as an artform that vandalizes public property. However, graffiti has arich history in personal expression and designs of mathematics. Many people know about Graffiti as part of hip-hop culture, but few realize that graffiti is also a part of mathematics. Graffiti artists often make use of geometric concepts when they create their work.  In studying the graffiti, it is interesting to note themathematics that emerges from the designs.
