I think that this etwinning project is an excellent collaboration between the participating schools. I see that we are doing experiments about the same topic in differnt ways. As a teacher I am learning a lot, and I appreciate the ways that different countries tackle the same topic. This is an enjoyable way for my students to see how other students from different countries work. We watch each others video clips and read each others comments during lessons, so that students who don't have access to the internet from their homes can still appreciate all the work being done from...

This experiment shows the glassware setup required for a soxhlet extraction. Coffee grounds are placed in the extraction “thimble” The experiment shows how vaporization and condensation occur throughout the apparatus. AFTER WE'LL CONVERT THE OIL EXTRACTED FROM COFFEE GROUNDS INTO BIODIESEL
other chemical experiments
today we did some more experiments from the topic "Chemical Reactions". These are on page 4 of the handouts I have already uploaded. I am now uploading the photos.
Today we started the experiments of the new topic "Chemical Reactions". The students burnt some magnesium ribbon to observe the change in colour, flame colour and shapes before and after burning. The video clips are uploaded. I will upload photos too.
