Having a comic book was a great achievement and an incredible pleasure to work all together but we needed a cover for it. And a comic book without a proper and an original cover is not a real comic book!
A cover contest took place in April and beginning of May and all members of Pek, teachers and pupils registered on the twinspace, were invited to take part in this activity.
The drawings had to be done on A4 format and all techniques were accepted.
7 different covers were produced and realised and a lot of creativity and originality was the result of this contest.
The participants had 3 weeks to create and to post their cover in the image gallery of the twinspace.
After it was voting time....
Each participants could vote through the the forum in the twinspace and let comments explaining their choices.
One vote per person was decided.
62 out of 118 participants voted for his or her favourite cover and everyone let a comment.
To enhance all cover participants' s works and efforts, their drawings found a place in the comic book.
We experienced some difficulties :
- Due to technical problem with the forum on the twinpsace, some schools couldn't use it because it didn't work. So teachers sent their votes into my email address and so their votes could be counted.
- A lot of schools were having their spring break at that time and some teachers and pupils had some problems with the delay. We should take this into account if a next time will happen.
I'd like to thank every member of this wonderful project for its participation, its collaboration, its creativity, its originality.
