ICT, You and Me

This project aims to improve pupils' skills in Information and Communication Technologies, Maths and foreign languages. Through creating films, presentations, videos and surveys, collating data about themselves with the help of online statistical tools, pupils learn about cultural differences and similarities of their partner schools in other countries in an enjoyable way. Presenting and comparing their lifestyles also gives pupils the opportunity to raise awareness about the positive health effects of good nutrition and sport, as well as adopt healthy habits.

We are very proud as our work on eTwinning activities has been appreciated and our project has  been awarded with five Quality Labels so far: Latvia (1), Spain (1) and Poland (3). We are sure that Greece and Romania will also get them soon. They really deserve this recognition. Our success was possible thanks to all the people engaged in the project. Our international eTwinning team consists of the people who are devoted to it and love taking up a challenge. Although we don't belong to the youngest generation and we aren't ICT specialists, we aren't afraid of new technologies...

"Everything that can be counted does not necessarily count; everything that counts cannot necessarily be counted." (Albert Einstein)

All our project activities were evaluated in the overall evaluation table after finishing every task, and finally through a final online questionnaire.
At the moment the Polish team is preparing personal evaluations in other ways too. The pupils are creating simple animations and digital stories in which they are talking about their experience with the project. Some of the kids prefer other services so they are working with Voki, ImageChef or Tagul in order to inform us about...

"Play is our brain's favorite way of learning." (Diane Ackerman, American author)

There is no doubt that learning should be fun.  All pupils learn much faster and retain more when they are engaged, involved and having fun. That's why we decided to include interactive games and quizzes in our project. All of these games and quizzes were created by its participants with the use of innovative Internet services. They gave not only the pupils but also their teachers a chance to practise acquired knowledge about the partners, their hometowns and countries. They were a wonderful way to teach new...

Evaluation Month

May is the evaluation month. We answered to the final evaluation surveys and questionaires, we created our own evaluations and told our opinion on this project using Glogster, word clouds, Voki and GoAnimate. We posted the results of our surveys and we commented on our partners posts. We worked on the Tripline travel journal of Europa, our average eTwinner.

We will miss very much this project!
