Butterflies are beautiful and some fly great distances across Europe. In this project, children will create their own paper butterfly and write messages for children in the partner schools. The message will tell the children something about what the butterfly has seen. The children will receive butterflies from each of the partner schools. Finally one butterfly will travel to each of the partner schools and what it sees in each country will be recorded on the shared webspace through photographs. It's progress can be monitored throughout the life of the project.

On 5th November, send butterflies to schools on the list
Ursache Adelina-Elena, Stancu Gheorghita, CRISTINA VASILACHI, Céline Frairot, Dilek ÜNSAL, Anna Barczak, Kjersti Johnsen, Panayiotis Tsakalis, Mónica Vicente García, Dave Sherratt, Marzena CHŁOPEK, Iwona Dziewicka and OZDEN TURKAY OZNANECİ. I am hoping that there will one at least one more name by Friday.
I have addresses for the teachers below. The final list will not be released until 29th October to allow any school that wishes to join. There is at least one other teacher who I think will join us. You should send your butterflies to each school on the list on 5th November.
We are looking forward to seeing your butterflies.
Address - Please email me your school address by 13:00 Friday 29th October. I will send you the complete list at 15:00 on that day. Currently we are 10 schools. You should send butterflies to the schools on the list on Friday 5th November (if possible).
This is for second phase schools that were too late for the first one.
For those members that have recently joined and missed the first phase I am suggesting that you form a second group.
My idea of this second phase will be :
1) Each school sends 3 or 4 butterflies to each partner school. This may be about 10 schools. 2) Each butterfly will have a message on it. The message will be written in English but may also be written in other languages (Spanish, Greek, Romanian, Austrian etc). The message may say a simple greeting or may say something ...
Thank you for your message and I was pleased to hear that the butterflies are arriving safely with you. We shall look forward to seeing your photographs.
and thanks for the invitation to participate in the project by cristina.
Seeking a new job and therefore take time to participate only as a teacher. I can send a butterfly to another partner school, or new at all schools. I need to know where to fly then. I look forward to sharing with you all

Many thanks to Isabel and to Ilze for your messages. Ilze I am sorry, I think I have lost your beautiful photograph of the butterflies outside your school. Could you please re-send it
I am having great problems with moderation of comments as the mechanism seems to be faulty.
