8 weeks project in France
Hello, Barbara, you can be happy to have such a long periode for a project in robotics. I hope you let us join to the new experiences your students will make, so that they can work together with our pupils.
Next week we will start to wirte topics to the pupils forum, so that they can discuss about different problems in robotic.
Comment on the Rybnik tournament
Congratulations to organisers, winners and thanks to Alfons for the video and his account.
After having seen the video and the photos of the tournament we can only regret that we weren't there.
For today our robots are rather like the last NXT but our students start now some 8 weeks projects and they will certainly improve quickly.
I stayed for one week in Rybnik and I visited Zespół Szkół Technicznych w Rybniku, Rybnik (Polen). I enjoyed the hospitality and all was perfectly organised. I stayed together with Norwegian Teacher and students an with Mihai Agape, I call him "our Elektronic-Professor from Rumania. The robotic tournament was very amazing and I learnt to know the contests: Line-follower, mini-sumo and maze. Most of the robotics were self-constructed and programmed with C. One team of Rumania have won the maze-contest. The whole tournament with a lot of participants was organised by a student of Zespół Szkół Technicznych.
Each of us should...
Think with robots
English version of the presentation "Think with robots" activities is available in "French students activities".
Comment on school teamwork
I can't comment a previous blog so I write a new one to do it.
At the end of the week in the english version of french students activities presentation you will see robot painter. I'll ask our students to give more details about this robot.
I am very happy to inform "the rest of Europe" that we founded at our school (Wilhelm-Maybach-Oberschule) a interdisciplinary collaboration: Biologie, art, physics and informatics will work together: Biologie will start a research over communication beetween animals. There is a contact to the zoo-school at Berlin Zoo. The results of this research will give the informatic ideas to simulate the animalistic communication. Art will start a project "drawing by robots" and physic will start a research about mechanical processes which can be demonstrated by robots.
I am sure that this collaboration can enrich the eTwinning-Project. I am already snoopy to the ideas of...
I think it is a good idea to share the teaching material. As I started as a beginner with beginners I post my material into the twinspace.
