I have been to visit Isabelle my french teacher friend. Our classes havebeen chatting on the internet, using web cameras. I went for 4 days and had a really excellent time. I am hoping she will come and visit my school and meet my class next year. |

Visit the farm |

In september we went to visit the local farm and see where our food comes from. We got to dig vegetables out of the field. We planted garlic, onions and other vegetables ready for next year. We made our own pasta and created a healthy pasta salad. It was delicious. |

On June 24 is St. John's Day (Jaanipäev) in Estonia. This day is the most important day in the Estonian calendar, apart from Christmas. St. John's Day marks a change in the farming year, specifically the break between the completion of spring sowing and the hard work of summer hay-making. The evening of June 23 is St. John's Eve. In the night between 23rd and 24th of June the people spent their time lighting bonfires. Then night is very short, night seems to be non-existent. ... |
